Wind/Sun Resistant Screen isn't going down properly

First, check if the ground is 100% level.

If the ground is 100% level:

  1. First, reference page 2-3 of the attached instructions and follow steps 1-1 through 1-6
  2. If everything matches the diagrams and the instructions in steps 1-1 through 1-6, you can open the side rail cover to identify what adjustment you need. Watch our video on Screen Alignment Adjustment to learn how to do this.
  3. If you are still having trouble, please CALL (949) 716-3678 or TEXT (949) 704-3678.

If the ground is not 100% level

  1. Identify which side is lower
  2. Reference page 2-3 of the attached instructions and follow steps 1-1 through 1-6
  3. If everything matches the diagrams and the instructions in steps 1-1 through 1-6, make sure the post is not off more than an inch between top to bottom width in between the pergola.
  4. For the lower side of screen, if the plastic zipper guide is touching the inner wall of the side rail (closer to the pergola post), you might need to move the post outward or go to step 5 below. If the plastic zipper guide is further away from the side rail, loosen the bolt behind the mid and lower location where you anchor the side rail into the posts. Then pull the side rail loose a little to identify how much space you need to put behind the side rail. Please note: NEVER adjust the top portion— the top is regulated by the pergola frame.
  5. For the higher side of the screen, remove the black foam piece on the zipper guide to increase tolerance of the screen.
  6. Watch our video on Screen Alignment Adjustment to see examples.
  7. If you are still having trouble, please CALL (949) 716-3678 or TEXT (949) 704-3678.
